Our client, an international business support organization, needed to replace manual, error-prone dashboards with a reliable, accessible, and fully operational tool without relying on cloud infrastructure or third-party software. The challenge was clear: a solution built entirely in Microsoft Excel and VBA.
Our Solution
We designed a modular Excel application powered by VBA macros, capable of:
- Automatically calculating service pricing (hourly rates, fixed-fee services, and subscriptions) based on industry sector, country, and company size.
- Analyzing export opportunities using real-world data from 2021–2023, including current markets, new target markets, and the top 10 direct competitors.
- Comparing countries’ competitiveness through dozens of sector-specific KPIs.
- Visualizing performance through a dynamic dashboard featuring cost distribution, top markets, and competitive intensity indicators.
